fork in the road...
Ali Epstone was born in Leeds in 1983 and is a singer-songwriter currently living in London, England. He first began performing in prog/metal band Mishkin who released two highly acclaimed E.P's and performed throughout Europe and the Far East. Following the band's amicable split, Ali has pursued his vision of stripped down, acoustic based music that has drawn comparison to Ani Difranco, Evan Dando, Elliot Smith and Nick Drake.

His haunting, atmospheric songs, deceptively simple on first hearing, are conjured from disparate ingredients, such as the lush vocal harmonies of John Frusciante and the alchemical guitars of Richard Thompson and Johnny Marr.
